Shout out Your Thanks
One of my favorite Thanksgivings came many years ago when I flew back home to Michigan to surprise my family for the Holiday. I enrolled my sister in helping me and we just showed up for dinner that Thursday. The looks on their faces; the joy and the celebration still fills my heart with gratitude as I recall that decision to make someone happy on Thanksgiving.
Recently I realized that appreciation needs to be public…personal and practical. Feeling thankful is wonderful – the act of showing Thanksgiving adds a level of depth and care.
So let me shout out my Thanksgiving in the hope that many will see their name here. And please let the video and its story touch your heart -even pass it on- and make sure you watch past the credits…cuz there is more.

Happy Thanksgiving one and all,
Musicians Nimo Patel and Daniel Nahmod brought together dozens of people from around the world to create this beautiful, heart-opening melody. Inspired by the 21-Day Gratitude Challenge, the song is a celebration of our spirit and all that is a blessing in life. For the 21 Days, over 11,000 participants from 118 countries learned that gratefulness is a habit cultivated consciously and a muscle built over time.
