Truth or Circumstances?
My title for this week reminds me of a 1950’s TV show called Truth or Consequences. I don’t think I ever saw the actual program-but it still has remained in my memory somehow. As I think everyone knows, I live in the state that nearly burned down in the last two years- and is currently about to float into the mighty Pacific Ocean. A circumstance. (and a consequence)
For me personally, the last few weeks have presented medical challenges, weather challenges, getting help and being of help challenges. Circumstances.
It has provoked a deeper level of this question..”Am I an artist creating a canvas called my life?” or “Am I a victim to a series of daunting events? In other words, what is the truth? It has been my experience over the years, that many people work overtime on changing the circumstances. Me too from time to time. And if I focus on the truth that we are artists, not victims, I see the chance to create something new and fresh at any time over anything.
This truth not only gives me a feeling of hope-it sets me free from the heaviness of change and the presence of fear. It opens the door to a new perception and Love comes pouring thru that door.
The short video below illustrates this truth in less than 5 minutes..and is created by a dear friend and colleague in the new psychology. It’s an opportunity for insight and wisdom. Please enjoy!
