This week it occurred to me that I was feeling a sense of loss, and fatigue – as the California wildfires blaze and I see and hear of the devastation in all of the Northwest as well as all the other news that isn’t fit to print – I felt the need to bring some focus – some inspiration – some notion of what we are FOR not what we are against. So I am including a walk down memory lane – see if you can name all the singers in this video. Although it was recorded for aid in Africa – never have we needed the message of the song more than we need it right now. Many of these voices are singing now in another realm, so it was really good to hear their voices again – and to remember we can all sing a new song in these days of challenge, and heartache.

Please turn it up and watch it all the way through – sing along and lift your heart and voice for everyone in need today – and especially to our firefighters who selflessly are saving lives and homes.

And a special blessing to Quincy Jones for his vision – to my friend Leslie B who reminded me of this last week and to everyone reading this and hearing this today.

God Bless – Stay Strong
