The Heart Knows
Some call it intuition – some call it sudden insight -Leroy Jethro Gibbs (handsome Mark Harmon) calls it his “gut”…whatever we call it, we have all experienced a sense of realizing or knowing something that did not come from analytical thought. In the work of the three principles of human experience, we call it knowingness. For me, this knowingness is most easily accessed through the heart connection. Again, I am referring to the spiritual heart – the heart of awareness often beyond where the senses are pointing us. This heart connection can bring us out of a stressful moment- or bring us into harmonius interactions – and it’s a beautiful way to allow a decision to appear or a dilemma to be resolved.
Continuing with our Heart hologram – we can use a simple process to become more aligned with what the heart always knows.
Begin with breathing – Ease on the in-breath, Peace on the out-breath. Do this for about 30 seconds.
Consider your decision, dilemma or some heart intent that has a desired outcome.
Imagine and feel the desired outcome as if it has already occurred- bringing in the desire for the best for all concerned.
Ask any question about this that you wish to know a deeper sense of confidence and commitment as you move forward.
Then just rest – allow the direction or answer to bubble up…no force ..no Will…just allowing.
Journal whatever takes place.
Like looking for a good idea, we often get a spontaneous answer in the shower – or while we are dong another activity. So if nothing comes during the process, just move forward with a high sense of alertness that the heart knows and will reveal a response. It will always include a loving aspect – which means if you hear any harsh judgement of yourself (you should have known better….or come on, get on with it…you are so indecisive) that is just personal thought having its say. The heart speaks with gentle compassion and EASE. Use the Ease technique any time you want to return to that place of equilibrium.
Remember, the answers are all within. There is no answer outside of us that provides us with peace and a sense of being in tune with our deepest wisdom. And as in the hologram design…what the heart knows – all parts of us know.
